Love it or swap it. You have 30 days from shipment to return any piece — for store credit — valid for five years, on anything we make, new collections included.

How it works

1. Lodge your return through our Returns Portal — it takes about two minutes.
2. Your prepaid return label is generated when you lodge your return — just print, pack and send.
3. Once your return arrives, we process it within 5 business days and your store credit is on its way.

Swapping sizes? Australian orders can exchange directly for the same piece in another size — a prepaid label is provided with a $15 shipping fee, or use your store credit to reorder instantly.

As a zero-waste label making limited runs by hand, store credit keeps beautiful garments moving — and yours is valid for five years, on anything we make.

The details

• Returns close 30 days after shipment — lodge yours anytime before then.
• Pieces come back unworn and unwashed, with tags attached, folded in your Daughters of India tote.
• Your store credit covers the full garment price; original shipping isn’t included.
• Final sale pieces aren’t eligible for return or credit.
• Orders reach our packing team quickly, so we can’t edit an order once it’s placed — the 30-day window has you covered.
• If something arrives faulty or not as described, we’ll always make it right with a replacement or full refund.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law or NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.
